Bat Mitzvah Preparation Course Concludes at “Chaya Mushka” School

At Chaya Mushka, the leading educational institution of the Jewish Community of Dnipro for girls, a special ceremony marked the completion of the Bat Mitzvah preparation course for 6th-grade students. Throughout the year, the girls studied the meaning and unique aspects of this important milestone in the life of every Jewish girl — coming of age according to Jewish tradition and everything it entails.

The celebration took place in one of the school’s classrooms and began with a video of the Rebbe, as the words of the Leader of our generation continue to inspire each and every one of us and guide us toward becoming active participants in the great mission of spreading the light of Chassidism.

At the final session, the girls revealed themselves as true explorers of the soul’s depth and the inner qualities of the Jewish spirit. They presented the traits inherent in every Jewish girl — traits to be recognized, nurtured, and developed so that each individual can fully realize her purpose.

The highlight of the event was the presentation of a gift — each girl received a beautiful flower-shaped candleholder, symbolizing her new role as a mature, responsible young woman, ready to continue spreading light, Jewish values, and bringing great nachas to the Rebbe.
