General cleaning in the synagogue for Passover.

In the central synagogue of Dnipro, ‘Golden Rose,’ a general cleaning of the main prayer hall and other rooms took place in preparation for the Passover holiday.

We invited a very professional and competent cleaning company to conduct a general cleaning for the Passover holiday, – says Rabbi Reuven Kaminetsky, – it is part of the Jewish tradition to make every effort to eliminate any possible chametz, not relying solely on formulas for rejecting or selling chametz. This holds great spiritual significance, so that every Jew and every Jewish institution strives to prepare all spaces for Passover as thoroughly as possible. This is not just preparation for the holiday; it is part of the very celebration of Passover, showing respect for it and for the commandments of aShem – to eliminate chametz on Passover.

Cleaning for the holiday is also taking place in other synagogues and numerous Jewish institutions in Dnipro and Jewish homes. In educational institutions, participation in such cleaning is part of the educational and upbringing process that shapes Jewish identity and worldview.

The event was organized with the support of the Jewish community of Dnipro.
