Summer has already begun, and with it came the time for vacations, new impressions, and bright discoveries. However, the JBBBS program of the Dnipro Jewish Community is certain: the best kind of rest is one that combines interesting leisure, new knowledge, and communication with friends.
The latest gathering of program participants was exactly that. This time, the younger participants went to the Dnipro Philharmonic for a musical journey-performance. Their guides into the world of music were cheerful and restless trolls, who introduced the children to modern popular music genres. The kids happily sang along, danced with the performers, and watched what was happening on stage with great interest. An atmosphere of joy and good mood accompanied the performance from beginning to end.
For the older participants of the program, this day was filled with different impressions. They visited escape rooms, where puzzles, logical tasks, and team challenges awaited them. To successfully complete all stages, they needed to demonstrate attentiveness, resourcefulness, and the ability to work together. The kids excelled at all the tasks, once again proving how important mutual help, trust, and team spirit are.
Such gatherings help children not only spend their free time interestingly but also develop their abilities, learn to interact with one another, gain new experiences, and create warm memories that will stay with them for years to come.
Program coordinator Tetyana Kaplunskaya notes: “We are sincerely grateful to the Jewish communities of Dnipro and Greater Boston, as well as to the Chief Rabbi of Dnipro, Shmuel Kaminezki, for their constant support of the program. Thanks to this help, children have the opportunity to grow in an atmosphere of care, friendship, and Jewish values, feeling themselves part of a united and cohesive community. New meetings, interesting events, and exciting adventures await our participants ahead.
