Concert “Spring Mood” at “Beit Baruch”

Beit Baruch – the Home for the Elderly of the Jewish Community of Dnipro – hosted a traditional large spring concert with the participation of the residents of the Home and its employees.

“It was an amazing event with a wonderful atmosphere and a very positive mood,” says Rivka Lazareva, a social worker at “Beit Baruch” who is in charge of its creative activities, “the concert featured many songs in Ukrainian, Hebrew and Yiddish, and everyone present sang along. The concert brought a lot of joy to everyone, symbolizing that another spring has come, that we have survived another winter and that we have hope for renewal and continuation. This concert musically prepared us for the holiday of Pesach, the holiday of Liberation, when we will once again choose Freedom and build both our own and collective identity.”

The administration of the House expressed sincere gratitude for the organization and holding of this concert: Rivka Lazareva, Halina Leykina and Natalia Guk. “They made a wonderful gift for the residents of the House and for everyone who was with us at that time,” emphasizes the director of “Beit Baruch” Malvyna Ruvinska, “with this concert, Spring and a real spring joyful mood really came to our House.”

The event was held with the support of the Jewish Community of Dnipro.
